Engineered for Commercial

Ground Screws SEQ delivers commercial ground screws across South East Queensland, providing adaptable footing solutions for projects where site access, reduced ground disturbance and documented compliance are key considerations. Commercial applications include:

  • Mining Camps: Footings for temporary and demountable buildings.
  • Containers: Secure footings for shipping containers and site offices.
  • Council Fencing: Footings for public fencing and boundary works.
  • Signage: Footings for commercial and council signage.
  • Solar Farms: Foundations for commercial ground-mounted solar arrays.

Because ground screws require no concrete curing time and can be installed in wet weather, commercial programs are less exposed to weather delays. Request a quote online.

Weather-Resilient Project Programs

On commercial projects, weather delays and concrete curing periods can disrupt programs and push back following trades. Ground screws remove the curing stage entirely and can be installed in wet conditions, giving project managers greater certainty when scheduling works.

Each installation is planned around the agreed project requirements, with torque monitoring available to verify installations and support handover records. Where structures require engineering sign-off, Form 15/16 certification is coordinated through our partner engineers. For temporary buildings and demountables, ground screws can also be removed at the end of a project, with the steel reusable or recyclable.

FAQ

  • Can ground screws be used for mining camps and demountable buildings?

Yes. Ground screws are well suited to mining camp buildings, demountables and other temporary buildings that may need to be relocated. Because there is no concrete, there is no curing period, and installation can proceed in wet conditions. When the structure is relocated or decommissioned, the screws can be removed, with options to reuse them or recycle the steel. Engineering requirements for each building are reviewed and coordinated through our partner engineers where applicable.

  • What documentation is provided for commercial installations?

Documentation depends on the application and the requirements of your project. For structural work, engineering sign-off is required, and we coordinate Form 15/16 certification through our partner engineers where applicable. Where torque monitoring is used, recorded readings can be included as part of your handover records. These requirements are confirmed during the quotation and scope stage, so project managers and certifiers know exactly what will be delivered.

  • Are ground screws suitable for council fencing and signage?

Ground screws are an effective footing option for council fencing, public signage and similar commercial applications. They minimise excavation and spoil, which reduces disruption in parks, streetscapes and other public spaces. Our range includes the OS-Series, an open-section ground screw designed for secure fixing of poles, signage and fencing. Each project is assessed against site conditions and load requirements to confirm the most suitable product.
