Protecting Established Properties
Many residential projects involve established gardens, finished paving, tight side access or sloping blocks, where traditional concrete footings can cause significant disruption. Ground screws require minimal excavation and no concrete trucks or pumps, so there is less spoil to remove and less risk of damage to surrounding surfaces.
Our hydraulic and handheld installation equipment can reach backyards and restricted areas that larger machinery cannot. For structural applications such as decks, extensions and tiny homes, engineering sign-off and Form 15/16 certification are coordinated through our partner engineers where applicable, giving builders and homeowners documented confidence at handover.

FAQ
Can ground screws be used for decks on sloping blocks?
Yes. Ground screws are well suited to sloping blocks, where traditional concrete footings would require significant excavation and formwork. Each screw is installed to the required depth, and the fittings allow bearers to be set level across uneven ground. This makes them a practical option for decks, patios and boardwalks on challenging residential sites. Site levels and ground conditions are reviewed during our site assessment to confirm the right product and layout.
Does a deck or shed on ground screws need engineering certification?
Engineering sign-off is required for relevant structural applications, which can include decks, carports, extensions and tiny homes. Where applicable, we coordinate Form 15/16 certification through our partner engineers. Requirements vary depending on the size, height and type of structure, as well as local council and building certifier requirements. We confirm what's needed for your project during the quotation and scope stage, so you know what documentation to expect at handover.
Will installing ground screws damage my lawn or garden?
Ground screws require minimal excavation, so disruption to lawns, gardens and paved areas is significantly reduced compared with concrete footings. There are no concrete trucks or pumps on site, and very little spoil to remove. Our handheld equipment can be used in tight backyards and side access areas where larger machinery would cause damage. Any access considerations are identified during the site assessment, so your property can be protected throughout the project.
