Compliance Without Compromise

For structural applications, compliance is built into every stage of our process rather than addressed at the end. Engineering sign-off is required for relevant structural work, and we coordinate Form 15/16 certification through our partner engineers where applicable. Where torque monitoring is used, recorded readings verify each installation and form part of the handover documentation supplied to builders, certifiers and property owners.

The ground screws we supply are designed and certified by Australian structural engineers to align with the Building Code of Australia and relevant Australian Standards. The result is a footing solution you can present to certifiers with confidence.

FAQ

  • What size ground screw will my project need?

The right size depends on the soil conditions, the load requirements and the type of structure being supported. We supply ground screws from approximately 800mm to 2000mm+ to suit a wide range of applications. Every project begins with a site assessment and soil review, which informs the size and number of screws required. For structural applications, an engineering review confirms the specification before your quotation is finalised.

  • Do ground screw installations require engineering certification?

Engineering sign-off is required for relevant structural applications, such as decks, extensions, tiny homes and commercial buildings. For these projects, we coordinate Form 15/16 certification through our partner engineers where applicable. Some non-structural work, such as certain fencing and landscaping applications, may not require the same level of certification. We confirm the requirements for your project during the quotation and scope stage, so there are no surprises at handover.

  • Can ground screws be installed on sloping or restricted-access sites?

Yes. Ground screws are well suited to sloping, tight-access and sensitive sites where traditional concrete footings would be difficult or disruptive. Our hydraulic and handheld equipment allows installation in areas that larger machinery and concrete trucks cannot reach. Because minimal excavation is required, there is less spoil to remove and less disruption to surrounding landscaping, structures and surfaces. Access and ground conditions are reviewed during the site assessment to confirm the most suitable installation approach.
